Corey Hart Comes to JRI !!

On Thursday, May 30th, JRI was visited by MusiCounts Canada, who came to officially donate $10,000 worth of musical instruments to the JRI Music program. Ms. Deanne Coady, who applied for the grant money, was overjoyed that Canadian Artist, Corey Hart, came along to speak to our students and be part of the presentation!! An amazing show followed on Friday evening, with 400 tickets given to the school to distribute to students who attended the concert at Mile One Stadium… what a blast!!

Corey Hart poses with members of the JRI music program with some of the instruments and materials purchased from the MusiCounts donation to the school.
Corey Hart performs “Never Surrender” and “Sonny’s Dream” for the students at JRI.
A great time was had by lots of students at the Corey hart Concert at Mile One Stadium on Friday Night. Way to go, Ms. Coady!!
